A ZEPH Worker shows 0. Has the rig stopped?

Separate a row that reports 0, a row the pool marked offline, and a row with no number. Zero does not rewrite the address reward as zero, and it is not a reason to switch to a Monero address.

On this page

Not necessarily. A Worker hashrate of 0 means the pool sent the number 0 for that rig name. When the hashrate cell is blank, no number was read. Leave it unknown and do not fill in 0. Offline is a separate flag. The row is offline only when the pool said so. If the pool did not send true or false, the status is unknown. Do not guess offline.

The last heartbeat is the latest contact time the pool recorded. It tells you whether that name is recent. It does not replace the XMRig window on the rig. The account’s current hashrate is the total for the whole standard address, so it can be present while one row shows 0.

How the row relates to the wallet

A row at 0 does not set that address’s unpaid, paid, or rolling 24-hour reward to 0. Those amounts belong to the whole address. Share difficulty does not explain the row either: the pool says share difficulty does not affect miner rewards. The algorithm should still be the RandomX the help page asks for.

Check in this order

  • Confirm the miner username is still “standard address.the rig name you expect”. The rig name may use only English letters, digits, hyphen, and underscore.
  • Find the same name on the pool’s own statistics page. If both sides show 0, then look at whether the local process is still running and still aimed at the ZEPH pool.
  • If the cell is blank rather than 0, reload the project page. If it stays blank, leave it unknown. Do not create a second saved device.

What to do next

  • On the Zephyr project, read that row’s hashrate, offline flag, and last heartbeat.
  • Naming rules are in RandomX and Workers. Address-level amounts are in rewards and payments.
  • If the whole account will not open, check for a standard address before editing the Worker.

Sketch (not a real rig)

A row named rig-1: hashrate 0, not marked offline, last heartbeat a few minutes ago. The name is still listed and the pool currently reports hashrate as 0. Another row with a blank hashrate and a blank offline flag is unknown on both. Do not record both rows as “stopped, and the reward is 0”.

Limits

The monitor cannot see a power cut, a driver fault, or the XMRig error text in your home, and it cannot reboot the rig.

Common questions

What is the difference between 0 and a blank?

Zero is a hashrate number the pool reported. A blank means there is no number. Leave it unknown. It is not a stopped-rig reward of zero.

The last heartbeat is recent but hashrate is 0. What now?

The pool still has the name. Check that the local miner is still submitting RandomX work to this standard address, and match the same rig name on the pool statistics page.

Will saving another device for this Worker fix the zero?

No. That only uses another saved-device slot for the project. Expanding Workers under one address does not use a slot by itself.
