IOTA vs XID / MMM vs Quantus on Mac: training and mining
Compare tasks, public identifiers, reward units and monitoring scope to choose the right entry point without combining currencies or device counts.
Plain text version| Project | Task | Public identifier | Data in this monitor |
|---|---|---|---|
| IOTA Train at Home | AI training | Device Miner ID / hotkey | Reported activity, training history, accounted rewards |
| XID / MMM | xCoin mining | Public xpa1r payout address | Observed pool workers, hashrate, explorer balance |
| Quantus / QTC | QPoW mining | Public mining wormhole address | Mainnet blocks and indexed block rewards |
Choose by the software you actually run
Use IOTA for Train at Home, XID for xCoin MMM, and Quantus for its node and miner. MMM is an application here, not a fourth currency. Similar-looking addresses and same-name search results do not establish the same project.
Do not add currencies or device counts
Subnet IOTA alpha, XID and QTC are different units. XID balance, Quantus block rewards and IOTA accounted earnings are different measures too. A reward address may cover several workers or devices; the IOTA list is organized by added device Miner IDs.
Separate monitoring from operation
The website does not install miners, allocate machine resources or remotely start training. Assess concurrent projects using local resource measurements and current software documentation; web records cannot promise stability or returns. IOTA lists support account sync; new-project lists currently stay local.
Open the project hub, or read IOTA address roles, MMM mainnet setup and Quantus mainnet sync.
Common questions
Are all three projects AI training?
No. Here IOTA is AI training; XID and Quantus are proof-of-work mining.
Can I directly compare their token amounts?
Not as the same income unit. Currencies and accounting measures differ.
