XID mining with MMM: Mac mainnet setup and monitoring
Verify xCoin mainnet, the MMM source, xpa1r payout address and pool configuration before checking workers and hashrate.
Plain text versionConfirm which MMM you are using
MMM searches can return miners for other coins. This guide concerns SystemThreat/MMM, linked by xCoin, and the XID mainnet. Check the current repository documentation and release before downloading or upgrading.
Match the address and pool to mainnet
XID mainnet payout addresses start with xpa1r; txa1r belongs to the retired testnet. A prefix alone is insufficient: copy the complete address and validate it. Use the MMM mainnet instructions to verify network, pool host, port and explorer rather than reusing old testnet settings.
Check local activity before remote records
Check MMM’s engine, current worker name and share activity before looking up the address remotely. Distinct names make machines easier to recognize, but a worker name does not establish a physical device count. Pool records can lag behind local changes.
Add the address to the web monitor
Open the XID / MMM monitor and save the public address and a name. Each project supports up to 10 browser-local addresses and an export backup. Google sign-in does not synchronize this new-project list.
If workers are missing, check whether the chosen pool is covered by the source list, then inspect the fetch time. Continue with hashrate and shares or balance and reward maturity.
Common questions
Does saving an address start mining?
No. MMM mines locally; the website only reads public records.
Are MMM and XID separate currencies?
No. Here MMM is the xCoin miner application and XID is the token being mined.
