Quantus QTC mining on Mac: mainnet sync and monitoring

Understand the Quantus node and miner, mainnet selection, Apple Silicon builds, sync state and public reward addresses.

Plain text version

Start with current mainnet instructions

Use the official Quantus mining guide to select your platform build and verify node/miner protocol compatibility. Choose the native Apple Silicon build where applicable. Website hashrate is not a benchmark guarantee for your Mac.

Verify synchronization before mining activity

Check the node’s chain and height against the tip; the official guide requires synchronization first. Orphan blocks found before sync do not earn valid rewards. Compare local logs with the explorer rather than treating a live process, spinning fan or network block as proof of your own mining.

Keep mainnet QTC separate from Planck

Older tutorials may use the Planck testnet. This monitor queries only the official mainnet index and does not merge testnet blocks or balances. Even if addresses look similar, confirm that wallet, node and explorer refer to the same network.

Monitor rewards using the public address

Find the actual mining wormhole public Address using the official guide, then save it in the Quantus monitor. Keep recovery words, inner hash and miner authentication files local. See addresses and rewards or missing reward checks.

Common questions

Does a running Mac process prove QTC rewards?

No. Confirm mainnet sync, miner connectivity and accepted chain reward records.

Does this monitor include Planck balances?

No. This monitor reads Quantus mainnet only.
