IOTA Iron to Bronze or Silver: application and eligibility checks

Use the official compute application and provide accurate hardware details; rely on official notifications and actual run eligibility. IOTA Watch Pro, a new Miner ID or repeated restarts cannot grant an official promotion.

What should I prepare?

Checked October 22, 2026: the official form requests a public coldkey, miner type, at least one contact method, and compute categories, models and unit counts. Memory and network details can be added. A coldkey is not a device hotkey. Never submit private keys, seeds or wallet files. Submit directly to the official site; we do not collect applications.

Looking for Iron-to-Bronze advice? Check current labels first

Historical labels are not a fixed promotion ladder. On October 22, 2026, official run descriptions included Tier 0 (Bronze) and active Silver and Gold runs. Read the dated tier check, then compare your own run and official application outcome. A number alone does not prove approval.

How long does promotion take?

The reviewed official form says accepted applications are notified by email; it does not promise review days, a fixed Iron-to-Bronze-to-Silver score or a reward multiplier. Do not infer a promotion date from hardware, queue rank or submission time. Keep contacts reachable and ask official support about eligibility.

What should I monitor after applying?

Keep the run ID, official run description, recent throughput and error timeline. Address sleep, power loss and repeated crashes, but do not read our online or contributing badge as promotion approval. See queue checks and recovery.
