io.net reward history after a Device ID change
A device nickname is not the IO Explorer Device ID. If reinstallation or registration changes that ID, a shared nickname does not automatically move the old ID’s rewards into the new record.
What to check
Save the old ID, last reward date and source time before replacing the configuration. Copy the current ID from the official device page and query both histories. Where authorized access is required, use the connection interface, not a Worker private key in the identifier field. Adjust device associations only after checking ownership and overlapping history.
Example
Example: the old ID has yesterday’s rewards while the new ID first appears today. Preserve both segments. A zero on the new identity does not erase yesterday’s record, and manually copying the same reward would double-count it.
