Why the monitor still reads Workers on the ETCHash account when the miner says etchash

First confirm the host and payout belong to the regular ETC pool. The word etchash in a software flag is the help page's example wording. It does not replace the Worker list on the account.

Find the account by payout, then match the Worker by name

On the Ethereum Classic monitor, paste only the payout, then match the Worker name from the pool statistics page.

On this page

A Worker on the monitor comes from the regular ETC pool account, not from the algorithm word in your batch file. The help page says to choose ETCHash when mining ETC. On the same page, the lolMiner, GMiner, T-Rex, Rigel, NBminer, and SRBMiner examples set the flag to etchash, and the TeamRedMiner example sets it to ethash. Those are software examples on the help page, so you can compare the flag. They are not a diagnosis of your machine.

Lookup submits only the 0x payout. Even when the rig name appears on the pool statistics page, do not glue it to the address and paste that line into the Ethereum Classic monitor.

Name, rate, and online status

The Worker name is the RIG_ID from the help page. The help page says the field can be empty, allows at most 32 characters, and limits it to English letters, digits, hyphens, and underscores. Each Worker has its own rate and whether the pool marks it offline. The account rate can differ from any one Worker. Selecting a name filters that name. Unpaid balance stays one figure for the wallet.

What to inspect when the names do not match

Check whether the pool statistics page lists the name, whether the name exceeds the help page's length or uses a character the page does not allow, and whether the host is an ETC server rather than another coin. The ASIC example sets Worker to the wallet address and the password to x. GPU examples often join the wallet and RIG_ID with a dot in the user field. Both are help-page examples. The monitor does not accept the whole dotted string.

Next step

Find the name that matches RIG_ID on the pool page, then filter that name on the monitor. If the list is empty, confirm that shares reached this regular pool before you change the algorithm word. Fetch time is explained in sources and freshness.

An example, not your farm

The help page writes lolMiner as --algo ETCHASH --pool etc.2miners.com:1010 --user YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.RIG_ID. After you replace YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS with your 0x address, the monitor accepts only the address portion. If RIG_ID is rig-1, the Worker name should show as rig-1. This is an illustration of the structure.

Limits

Seeing a name does not mean a billed device is already used. Showing Workers under one wallet does not automatically consume the five Free or 50 Pro saved-device slots. A slot is used only when you save a separate device. This article does not rank miner software and does not turn the etchash flag into an income promise. What to check when the rate reads 0 is in pool hashrate shows 0. The address and SOLO are in the ETC monitor.

Common questions

If the config says etchash, is the coin wrong?

Several GPU examples on the help page itself say etchash, while the page tells you to choose ETCHash. Check that the host is an ETC server before you judge by that one word.

Does selecting a Worker split the balance?

No. The filter changes only that name's rate and online status. Unpaid balance still belongs to the whole payout address.

Why does the ASIC example set Worker to the whole address?

That is the help page's example for miners such as the Antminer E9: Worker is the wallet address and the password is x. The monitor still takes only the 0x address. Do not paste the password.
