XMR payout address changes and old pool balances
Pools account by the payout identifier supplied to them. Changing it does not merge the old record into the new one. Different subaddresses may belong to one wallet without becoming one pool account.
What to check
Keep the old address, pool and unpaid record, and use the address types supported by that source. After activating the new configuration, inspect both records and actual payments. Ownership of one wallet does not prove that its pool balances moved. Public monitoring does not require a private view key or seed phrase.

Example: the old address has unpaid XMR and the new subaddress shows zero. Check the old pool account before diagnosing loss. Payment eligibility remains subject to that pool’s current rules.
