RVN worker renaming and overlapping hashrate windows
Pool averages retain historical shares, so an old RVN worker label may not drop to zero immediately after a rename. A KawPoW worker name is a share label rather than a verified physical-device identifier.
What to check
Record the rename time and verify the active RVN address, pool and new label. Compare last-share timestamps before summing averages. If the old label continues receiving fresh shares, investigate another process or a machine reusing that label. Keep the source’s averaging window attached to the values you compare.
Example
Example: rig1 and rig2 both have averages, but only rig2 has new shares after the change. Treat this as a label transition, not evidence of an additional GPU rig.
