Gonka epoch weight and GNK: the monitor’s number is not credited income

weight is the reward weight for this epoch. The quickstart says a Host is rewarded from the amount and quality of resources they provide. The page does not split weight into GNK and has no daily earnings. Saving the same address on several devices does not add that weight up as extra income.

On this page

When the Host matches, the Gonka monitor shows this epoch’s reward weight, not GNK already posted to an account. The site says GPU providers can earn GNK. The quickstart says the reward depends on the amount and quality of resources provided. Neither sentence converts your weight into an amount.

Three figures that do not stack

  • Weight: weight on the current participant record. The API docs call it the reward weight for this epoch.
  • GNK: the reward unit used on the site and in the quickstart. The monitor has no balance, unit price, or today’s credit.
  • Participant count: how many records are on this epoch’s list. It is not your weight, and dividing the list by that count does not produce one Host’s income.
  • Under the lookup, the page says there is no daily earnings figure. The same cell on a device card is weight. Its label is not GNK.

Where to check a credit

  • First confirm the address is on this epoch’s list and note the epoch and weight. See this epoch.
  • Then open Rewards & tokenomics from the official site, and your own official ledger. The monitor does not replace that page.
  • cap_weight is a separate trust weight. The page does not show it. Do not use it or weight to estimate a PoC bonus. See PoC and inference.

What to do next

  • If weight is a number: keep it as this epoch’s weight. Do not multiply it by an exchange price.
  • If weight is a dash, or the page is unavailable: record unknown. Not listed is not income of zero. See Host not found.
  • If the same gonka address sits on several saved devices, do not add the weights. It is one record. Only a separately saved device uses a slot, five per project on Free and 50 on Pro.

Illustration

Illustration, not actual income: the document sample’s weight is 10. Even if your page also shows 10, that is still reward weight. Without an official conversion, do not write GNK or dollars beside 10.

Limits

  • This page does not forecast next epoch’s weight, does not guarantee a payout, and does not treat the Uniswap buy-or-sell entry as your settlement price.
  • The quickstart does not give a formula from “amount and quality” of resources to weight. When that formula is absent, stop at the weight itself.
  • This page does not send a transfer. AI crash analysis does not change this weight.

Common questions

Does a weight of 10 mean 10 GNK?

No. The 10 in the document sample is reward weight. The site and the quickstart do not publish a conversion from weight into GNK. The monitor does not multiply them either.

Is the weight on the device card added into a wallet total?

It is not added as a GNK balance. For Gonka, the card shows that address’s epoch weight. If the same address is on several saved devices, balance-style figures stay one shared figure and are not copied into extra income. A missing weight stays unknown.

Does this epoch’s weight automatically become next epoch’s credit?

The monitor has no such conversion and no payout time. Next epoch, read the weight on the current list again. Credits follow the official rewards notes and ledger.
