Golem provider history after a Node ID change
A Node ID identifies the provider, while its payout wallet is another configuration field. Reinstallation can leave the same wallet associated with a different node identity. Separate public statistics do not establish loss of wallet funds.
What to check
Save the old Node ID, payment network, public wallet and last activity time. Compare the active Node ID with Stats, then verify payments on the network used for settlement. The monitor does not custody GLM, and reading public history does not require importing secret node material.
Example
Example: an old node has cumulative GLM and a new node starts at zero. Preserve each identity’s history and check its accounting scope. Assigning the full shared wallet balance to both nodes would duplicate income.
