Why an ETHW rig hashrate is not a split of the wallet

A rig name is at most 32 characters, using letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores. A rig that only appears on screen does not add a saved device. This page does not draw a history chart per rig.

Use the address for the ledger and the rig name to see which machine

Save only the 0x address on the EthereumPoW monitor. Leave the rig name in the miner's RIG_ID or Worker field. Do not paste it into the address box.

On this page

A rig's hashrate is not the money that wallet should receive. The 2Miners help page treats the rig name as an optional RIG_ID: at most 32 characters, using English letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores, so the statistics page can tell machines apart. The payout address stays the 0x string. IOTA Watch stores only that address. The whole string with .rig-1 cannot be saved.

The help page says share difficulty does not change miner rewards. It recommends the lower difficulty by default, and the higher one above 500 GPUs or on NiceHash. Hiveon's general FAQ describes a share as work a miner presents to a pool. That sentence only explains the word. That page is not the ETHW pool's rule, and it is not a way to divide your balance.

What the figures mean

Address hashrate answers what the whole 0x is reporting now. Each rig's hashrate answers whether that machine is still online. Unpaid balance answers how much ETHW the whole address has not yet been paid, already shown as ETHW. The monitor does not add the rigs into a second address total, and it does not copy the balance onto each rig in proportion to hashrate. This page does not draw a history chart for each rig.

What to inspect

Count the rig rows on the monitor, then match RIG_ID in the mining software. A name longer than 32 characters, or one that uses other letters or spaces, will not show on the pool statistics page under the name you expected. The ASIC example shows a pool password of x. That is an example, not the only correct value, and you do not have to change your password to match it. It belongs only to the pool connection. It is not an IOTA Watch sign-in password.

What to do next

If two rigs show hashrate and the address figure looks smaller or empty, use the address hashrate the pool reports. Do not add the two local speeds and type the sum into the monitor. If only one rig shows hashrate, check RIG_ID in the miner config instead of saving another 0x address. If the balance is not split in half by hashrate, that is the expected result. The 24-hour reward also belongs to the whole address.

An illustrative case

Suppose address hashrate is 90, the rig count is 1, unpaid ETHW is 0.03, and the 24-hour reward is 1.25. If a second rig appears later, 0.03 is still the unpaid amount for the whole address. It does not become 0.015 per rig. These numbers show units and ownership. They are not a measurement and they do not predict future mining.

Limits

The monitor cannot change share difficulty, connect NiceHash or a rental service, or prove that a particular share was accepted. After sign-in, Free saves five devices per project and Pro saves 50. A rig shown automatically does not add a device. Saving it separately can. Several bindings on the same device count as one. Crash analysis is a separate free capability and does not start or stop an ETHW miner. The agent controls Train at Home on a Mac only. Open the EthereumPoW monitor. Next, see which address to enter and how to read the balance.

Common questions

Should the rig name be pasted with the address?

No. The monitor stores only the 0x address. Keep the rig name in the mining software: at most 32 characters, using letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores.

Does a higher share difficulty raise the reward?

The help page says share difficulty does not change miner rewards. The monitor also does not split the balance by difficulty or hashrate. It does not split the balance by difficulty.

Why is there no 24-hour rig chart?

This monitor does not draw a history chart per rig. The rolling 24-hour reward is a separate amount on the address, not unpaid.
