Several machines on one BNT address: when the balance is counted twice
A Worker is a machine label under an address. The money sits on the address. When each machine has its own row, do not add confirmed unpaid twice.
| What you see | Attached to | When saved on several rows |
|---|---|---|
| Immature, confirmed, queued, cumulative paid | The address | Count once. Do not add per machine |
| Address hashrate | The address | Do not add it onto every Worker |
| One Worker's hashrate | That machine | Describes that row only |
| Latest share inside about 15 minutes | That machine | Does not convert into BNT |
The money sits on the address
Open BNT monitoring and look up the full mainnet address. This page answers whether several machines mean several piles of BNT. A shortname is still not the lookup key. See Seine on CPU or NVIDIA.
The pool returns one Worker list for that address. Each row has a name, that Worker's hashrate estimate, and the time of the latest share. The name is the --pool-worker you set in Seine, or the same kind of label the pool accepted. It is not a second wallet and it is not an on-chain balance.
The immature estimate, confirmed unpaid, queued payment, and cumulative paid belong to the address. If you save two rows and pick a different Worker on each, the totals still add the address once. When both machines show 1.20 BNT confirmed unpaid, that is the same ledger line shown twice, not 2.40 BNT. Hashrate is different. The address hashrate is the pool's estimate for the whole address. A Worker's hashrate describes that row only. Do not add the address hashrate on top of every Worker.
After you sign in you can save several rows for one address and name them. A lookup does not save by itself. Free keeps five saved devices per project, and Pro keeps 50. Workers the pool lists under one address do not each take a slot. A worker counts only when you save it as its own device record. Extra sources on the same saved device do not add a slot. Crash notes are free to read. The device agent only operates IOTA Train at Home on a Mac. It cannot start or stop Seine.
How to read a recent share
Recent share: if the pool's latest share time is inside about 15 minutes, that Worker is marked as having a recent share. Outside that window, or with no share time, you cannot say it is submitting shares now. A hashrate estimate of 0 beside a still-recent share only means the estimate is 0 for now. It does not, by itself, prove the process exited.
If the Worker name you saved is absent from the current list, that row means “not on the list”. It does not mean 0 BNT. If the address has no pool record at all, the result is not found. That is not an income statement of all zeros. A blank amount stays unknown. Do not fill it with 0.
Illustrative example: address A lists desk at 12 H/s and shelf at 4 H/s. Confirmed unpaid is 1.20 BNT and cumulative paid is 10.00 BNT. You save A as two rows. The wallet is still 1.20 unpaid and 10.00 paid. Read the two hashrates separately. Adding 1.20 twice and calling that two incomes is the wrong reading. How many BNT are in the chain wallet is not on this page.
One machine or all of them
Branches: to watch one machine, read that row's hashrate and latest share. Do not substitute the address hashrate. If both machines lose shares together, check power, the Seine process, and the pool connection, then read 24-hour hashrate. If only one machine drops and the address hashrate remains, check that machine's backend and whether the Worker name matches.
Limits: the monitor cannot rename a machine, cannot split shares into BNT per machine, and does not promise a payout. The bntpool.com start page states no payout threshold. How to read the amount fields is in immature, queued, and paid.
Common questions
Why do both machines show the same amounts?
Because unpaid and paid amounts sit on the address. Each row repeats that wallet. It is not a separate share of the coins.
Do I add Worker hashrate to the address hashrate?
No. The address hashrate is already the pool's estimate for the whole address. A Worker row describes that machine only.
If my saved name is missing, did I earn nothing?
No. It only means the current Worker list has no such name. Read the address amounts on the address. When a figure is missing it stays unknown, not 0.
