# ZEPH immature balances after changing pools

Switching pools does not automatically mature an old pool balance or move it to the new source. Its accounting stage and maturation rules remain those of the original pool.

## What to check

Save the old pool, ZEPH address, immature and unpaid fields and switch time. Check fresh RandomX shares on the new pool while following maturation and payout on the old one. Monero pools and addresses are not substitutes merely because both projects use RandomX.

## Example

Example: an old pool shows immature rewards while the new worker is active. Both records can be correct. Follow the original pool’s current payment evidence rather than promising an unsupported completion time.
