## At a glance

Separate chain balances, pool accounting and payouts when reading TensorCash mining records.

## Balance measures current holdings

A chain wallet balance can include both pool payouts and ordinary transfers, and outgoing transactions reduce it. It is neither lifetime mining income nor rewards earned since midnight in Hong Kong. Use the [official balance API reference](https://tensorcash.org/docs/api/tscscan/addresses-address-balance) to check the network and address.

## Keep unpaid and paid amounts separate

Unpaid balance remains on the pool ledger. A payout may combine contributions from several periods. Read the selected pool’s payout conditions and accounting window, then compare its records with chain transactions. Do not double-count an unpaid amount and the same amount after it reaches the wallet.

## When daily income is unavailable

On the [TSC monitor](https://iotahome.site/en/projects/tsc), read source-published balances, payouts and timestamps separately. When no device-level daily accounting field is provided, that income stays unknown; a USD conversion does not fill the missing TSC record. See [address and data troubleshooting](https://iotahome.site/en/learn/tsc-address-data-troubleshooting).
