## At a glance

Check the address, selected pool, original source and timestamps before interpreting missing TSC data.

## 1. Check the complete address and source

Copy the full public tc1 address again from the wallet and remove surrounding spaces. Do not enter a worker name, pool token or transaction hash. Select the pool your software connects to. A chain balance does not establish that a pool has workers, and records on another pool do not automatically appear in this source.

## 2. Compare the same original source

Compare chain data in the [official explorer](https://scan.tensorcash.org/) and pool data on the selected pool’s own page using the same address. If that page also has no record, check pool notices and local share submissions. If only our monitor is missing it, report the project, pool, fetch time and error text rather than assuming a dash means the device stopped.

## 3. Distinguish stale, zero and unavailable

Index sync, rate limits and outages can delay results. Stale data retains its last known record and time; a failed read is not a newly reported zero. Pool averages can also lag live device speed. Return to the [TensorCash monitor](https://iotahome.site/en/projects/tsc) for the fetch time and read the [pool and worker guide](https://iotahome.site/en/learn/tsc-pool-worker-monitor).
