# Why Golem rolling 24-hour GLM can decrease

A rolling 24-hour window continuously drops older records. A decrease can mean an earlier payment left that window, not that funds were debited or that today’s Hong Kong income became negative.

## At a glance

A rolling 24-hour window continuously drops older records. A decrease can mean an earlier payment left that window, not that funds were debited or that today’s Hong Kong income became negative.

## What to check

Record the Node ID, both observation times and underlying payment entries. A Hong Kong calendar-day total requires transactions within that day’s interval; subtracting two rolling snapshots does not recover it. Check the source scope of cumulative values before reconciling them with payments.

## Example

Example: a 2 GLM payment becomes older than 24 hours and the window falls from 3 to 1. Check that expired entry first. Its confirmed transaction remains available for reconciliation on the original payment network.
