# ETHW mining and non-native pool payout reconciliation

A pool may offer payment in another asset, but native ETHW monitoring does not automatically cover every conversion path. Mining accrual, conversion and receipt are separate stages of the same value, not three additional rewards.

## At a glance

A pool may offer payment in another asset, but native ETHW monitoring does not automatically cover every conversion path. Mining accrual, conversion and receipt are separate stages of the same value, not three additional rewards.

## What to check

Read the pool’s current asset, address, fee and payout conditions. Preserve the native accounting entry and actual payout denomination with timestamps, then verify the transaction on its payout chain. A BTC destination is not an ETHW 0x identifier, and an Ethereum transaction does not prove ETHW settlement.

## Example

Example: conversion changes the final asset amount and may involve fees. Reconcile original details rather than interpreting a numerical difference between two asset units as missing ETHW.
