# Why the ETC monitor rejects an Ethereum address and SOLO

Only a regular 2Miners Ethereum Classic account is in range. A 0x string can look like ETH, but the chain and the SOLO server are different balances.

## At a glance

Only a regular 2Miners Ethereum Classic account is in range. A 0x string can look like ETH, but the chain and the SOLO server are different balances.

## Confirm the ETC chain first

[Open the Ethereum Classic monitor](https://iotahome.site/en/projects/etc) and paste the 0x payout address, not the SOLO server.

## Where ETC is confused with ETH or SOLO

| Observation | Next step |
| --- | --- |
| 0x plus 40 hex characters | This is the ETC payout form this page accepts. Letter case is the same account. |
| An ETH balance at an exchange | Ethereum Classic and Ethereum are different networks. Do not treat one balance as the other. |
| A payout starting with bc1 or UQ | The 2Miners help offers BTC and TON payouts. This page does not query those addresses. |
| A record on solo-etc.2miners.com | That is a separate API server. Use the regular account on etc.2miners.com. |

## Which ETC address should I enter?

Enter the Ethereum Classic payout configured on the regular pool etc.2miners.com: 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters. Letter case is one saved account. The 2Miners help shows that 0x form and also allows BTC or TON payouts. Addresses starting with bc1, 3, 1, or UQ are not queried here even if the pool can pay them. Do not paste a private key. Lookup does not start ETCHash mining.

## Is this ETH or ETC, and which pool is supported?

This is Ethereum Classic, not Ethereum. Similar 0x text can exist on both networks. An ETH exchange balance or a token balance on Ethereum is not this pool's unpaid ETC. The algorithm name to use is ETCHash, as the 2Miners help writes it. This page reads only the regular account on etc.2miners.com. The API documentation lists solo-etc.2miners.com as another server, so SOLO records do not appear here.

## Why are Workers or rewards missing?

The rig name in the miner is not the address to look up. The address must match the payout on the regular etc.2miners.com pool exactly. Another pool, the SOLO server, or a switch to BTC payout leaves no ETC account here. That does not prove the machine stopped. Check whether the pool accepted shares, then the fetch time. Fetch time is the Hong Kong-time response clock. See [sources and freshness](https://iotahome.site/en/learn/data-sources-and-freshness).

## How does pool hashrate differ from ETC you keep?

The rate on the page is what the pool reports for the current account. The unit is a hashrate such as H/s, not a count of ETC. Each Worker's rate can differ from the account rate. Choosing a Worker filters that name's rate and status only. It does not split the unpaid balance. A higher rate does not mean a payout threshold was reached or that coins arrived. This page does not estimate profit and does not explain rented hashrate.

## How do I read balance, paid, and the last 24 hours?

Unpaid balance, total paid, and the last 24 hours are three figures. The 24-hour figure is a rolling window, not UTC midnight until now, and not a Hong Kong calendar day. Do not add any of them to an on-chain wallet balance. A dash is missing data, not zero. The 2Miners help also says payouts can be switched to BTC or TON. Those arrivals do not become the ETC balance here.

## How do I save or remove wallets, and how do I read anomalies?

After sign-in on the [Ethereum Classic monitor](https://iotahome.site/en/projects/etc), each line is one 0x address and one account. Free is 5 per project and Pro is 50. Several Workers are not several billed devices. The device overview adds no extra total cap. Overview, the Mac Agent, and crash interpretation do not consume ETC quota. Remove only drops the saved address. Whether the miner keeps running is decided by the pool and the miner. A failed read can retain the previous success and its original fetch time, marked stale. The pool page is the source; this site's clock only describes that response.
