# CKPool best share difficulty versus a Bitcoin block

Best share records the highest share difficulty in a reporting scope. It is neither a BTC amount nor proof of a valid block. A Solo outcome must be reconciled against an actual block and its reward transaction.

## At a glance

Best share records the highest share difficulty in a reporting scope. It is neither a BTC amount nor proof of a valid block. A Solo outcome must be reconciled against an actual block and its reward transaction.

## What to check

Match the CKPool address, worker, statistics scope and update time. Comparing with a network target requires matching that time and ultimately checking acceptance of an actual block. A high best share does not promise a future block and cannot be converted into already-earned daily BTC.

## Example

Example: best share reaches a new high without a corresponding accepted block. Record that performance observation, not a fabricated BTC reward. Historical screenshots also require the historical network target, not today’s target.
