# Acurast phone replacement and shared manager rewards

Processor identities identify phones, while manager rewards may cover several processors. If old and new phones share a manager, assigning the full manager total to both device cards would duplicate the same reward.

## At a glance

Processor identities identify phones, while manager rewards may cover several processors. If old and new phones share a manager, assigning the full manager total to both device cards would duplicate the same reward.

## What to check

Record both processor addresses and their manager relationship. Inspect heartbeats per processor, then reconcile paid rewards at manager scope. Device associations organize the records; they do not migrate or split historical rewards. If the source cannot attribute a manager payment to one phone, retain the aggregate scope rather than inventing a per-phone amount.

## Example

Example: two phones share a manager showing 1 ACU today. That is 1 ACU for the manager, not 1 ACU per phone. The physical device count can be two while rewards must be deduplicated by their source identity.
